Critical Care and Medical Aid

Transporting Lives

There are not enough artificial breathing machines (ventilators) to transport the wounded for care. Many die before they reach definitive care.

We partnered with ResMed to supply Astral ventilators to medics across the front line for life-saving transport.

Heart Health for the Vulnerable

A collaboration between DU4U, Lviv’s Regional Clinical Hospital, Edwards Life Sciences, and MAP International.

The program fills the gap in care for those with chronic heart problems as Ukraine’s healthcare resources shift to acute trauma care due to Russia’s war.

Precision Aid to Hospital’s ICU

Ventilators, defibrillators, artificial kidney devices, pain control instruments, ultrasounds, surgical fixators, wound vacuums, and other vital equipment from DU4U are helping critically wounded soldiers

We work with Ukraine's five major Military Hospitals in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv, and their associated field hospitals.

Mental Health

Psycological Help for Internally Displaced

The war in Ukraine resulted in millions of displaced people.

Many have experienced physical and emotional trauma, have been uprooted from their homes, and communities.

Mental health and social assistance are critically needed.

Training Providers in Mental Health

Thousands of soldiers and civilians are traumatized, on a level not seen in decades.

Mental health professionals are overwhelmed and under-resourced.
