Dr. Yevgeniy Mayr is an Addiction Psychiatry Fellow at the Yale Health Program and a first generation Ukrainian-American, originally hailing from the city of Kryvyi Rih.
His professional interests include dual treatment of substance use and mental health disorders, and AI applications in the healthcare space.
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022, Dr. Mayr has been involved in assisting Ukrainian refugees in finding safe passage to the United States through the United for Ukraine Humanitarian Parole program. As a member of DU4U, he has been co-leading an effort to provide collaborative telehealth specialist services to clinicians in Ukraine.
