Katherine “Katya” Kosiv MD, is a pediatric cardiologist at Yale University with a specialty in fetal cardiac medicine.
She is a second generation Ukrainian-American. She was a Fulbright scholar in Ukraine and worked with Children of Chornobyl Relief and Development Fund to provide care and social services to orphaned children with physical disabilities and neurological and developmental disorders.
She studies the impact of congenital heart disease and congenital heart surgery in children with chromosomal disorders, specifically trisomy 13 and 18.
