Dr. Viktoriia Kolesnyk is a researcher with a background in cellular and molecular science and general medicine.

After completing a BSc at the University of Bristol and earning a General Medicine degree from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, Dr. Kolesnyk joined the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at Yale University as a postdoctoral fellow.

Her current work focuses on understanding disorders of placentation and ovarian cancer, with the aim of contributing to better outcomes in reproductive health.

Viktoriia joined DU4U in Spring 2025 to support local efforts aiding Ukraine.
